Avinash Pande demands CEC Gyanesh Kumar’s removal, announces ‘save the vote, save the nation’ campaign

Hyderabad, Oct 26 (UNI) AICC General Secretary and Congress observer for Telangana Avinash Pande on Monday demanded the removal of Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Gyanesh Kumar and an inquiry into his actions, accusing the Election Commission of failing to address concerns over alleged voter deletions.
Speaking to the media at Indira Bhavan, here, Pande said the Congress Working Committee (CWC) had resolved to demand an inquiry into the CEC’s conduct.
He alleged that the use of Form 7 for voter deletions had raised serious concerns and claimed that the Election Commission had not adequately responded to the party’s requests for information and digital records relating to elections in Maharashtra, Haryana and Madhya Pradesh.
