NIT Trichy hosts Rozgar Mela; 125 new recruits get appointment letters

Chennai, Sep 19 (UNI) In a major boost to public sector recruitment, 125 candidates received their official appointment letters across various union Government Ministries during the Rozgar Mela hosted at the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Tiruchirappalli today.
The newly appointed personnel will join key sectors including Customs, Railways, Banking, Education, Postal, and Health and Family Welfare.
The ceremony was presided over by union Minister of State for Jal Shakti Raj Bhushan Choudhary, who inaugurated the event as the Chief Guest by lighting the ceremonial lamp and delivering the keynote address.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually addressed the candidates gathered at the venue, encouraging them as they embark on their public service careers.
Earlier, Suresh Babu, Chief Commissioner (Preventive), Tiruchirappalli Zone Customs, delivered the welcome address. The event was attended by Dr. G. Aghila, Director of NIT Tiruchirappalli, and Dr. N. Senthil Kumar, Registrar of NIT Tiruchirappalli, alongside other senior officials. The program concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Shri Bharat Prakash, Commissioner of Customs, Tiruchirappalli Zone.
