Eight states showcase cultural heritage during Mohini Avataram Seva at Tirumala

Tirumala, Sep 19 (UNI) Artists from eight states presented 18 folk and classical art forms during the Mohini Avataram Seva on Saturday, the fifth day of the Srivari Salakatla Brahmotsavams, showcasing India's rich and diverse cultural heritage.
A total of 502 artists participated in the cultural programmes, presenting traditional art forms including Bharatanatyam, Kuchipudi, Sattriya, Odissi, Bhangra, Kolatam and Perini Sivatandavam.
Artists associated with various cultural projects and institutions of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) also took part in the performances.
TTD Executive Officer Muddada Ravichandra honoured four outstanding cultural teams with shawls in recognition of their performances during the Vahana Seva.
The cultural presentations added to the devotional atmosphere of the Brahmotsavams while providing devotees an opportunity to witness India's diverse folk and classical traditions.
