Keralam emerging as top experiential tourism destination: Foreign buyers at KTM 2026

Kochi, Sep 25 (UNI) Keralam is emerging as a major experiential tourism destination, with its natural beauty, serene environment, local lifestyle, cuisine and cultural heritage drawing increasing interest from international travel trade representatives attending the Kerala Travel Mart (KTM) 2026 here.
While Ayurveda and wellness continue to remain major attractions, foreign buyers participating in the ongoing KTM said the state's diverse experiences, including backwaters, beaches, wildlife, plantations, traditional art forms and homestays, offer considerable potential for international tourism markets.
As the two-day business-to-business (B2B) meetings and exhibition began at the Sagara and Samudrika Convention Centres on Willingdon Island, buyers from the US, Taiwan and the UK said they were looking for travel packages combining nature, wildlife, culture, wellness and distinctive local experiences.
