Thunderstorm, lightning, gusty winds likely in Telangana in next 48 hours: Met

Hyderabad, Sep 28 (UNI) Thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds of 30-40 kmph are very likely at isolated places in Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Nagarkurnool, Wanaparthy and Jogulamba Gadwal districts of Telangana during the next 48 hours, the Meteorological Centre said on Monday.
In its daily weather report, the Centre said light to moderate rain or thundershowers are likely at isolated places across the State during the next 48 hours and on October 2 and 3.
Dry weather is likely to prevail over Telangana on September 30, October 1 and 4.
The Southwest Monsoon remained weak over Telangana. Dry weather prevailed across the State during the last 24 hours, the report added.
