Low Pressure forms over North Andaman sea, to intensify into Deep Depression in 3-4 days

Chennai, Sep 19 (UNI) A Low Pressure area has formed over North Andaman sea and its neighbourhood on Saturday evening and it is likely to intensify gradually as a depression and a deep depression and moved towares South Odisha and North Andhra coasts in the next 3-4 days.
Met office in an update said under the influence of the upper air cyclonic circulation over north Andaman Sea and neighbourhood, a Low Pressure area has formed over the same region at 1730 hrs of today, the 19th September, 2026.
It is very likely to move west-northwestwards and intensify gradually into a depression over eastcentral Bay of Bengal on September 21 and into a deep depression over westcentral Bay of Bengal the next day.
It would further continue to move west-northwestwards and is very likely to reach westcentral and adjoining northwest Bay of Bengal near south Odisha-north Andhra Pradesh coasts around September 23 morning.
