Abhishek’s last-gasp strike sends India past Pak 4-3 into Asian Games hockey final

Gifu (Japan), Oct 1 (UNI) Abhishek struck with seconds remaining as India survived a stunning Pakistan fightback to win a seven-goal thriller 4-3 and storm into the men's hockey final of the Asian Games here on Thursday.
India looked to have the semifinal firmly in their grasp after captain Harmanpreet Singh's brace and Sukhjeet Singh's goal gave them a commanding 3-0 lead, but Pakistan refused to fold and fought back with three unanswered goals to level the contest.
Just when the match appeared destined for extra time, Abhishek produced the decisive moment, finding the net in the dying seconds to send India into their second successive Asian Games final.
