Ravindra ruled out of New Zealand’s T20I series against India

New Delhi, Sep 23 (UNI) New Zealand all-rounder Rachin Ravindra has been ruled out of the upcoming five-match T20I series against India after suffering a shoulder injury during a promotional shoot last week.
Ravindra is expected to take around six weeks to recover, with the New Zealand team management hopeful that he will be fit for the three-match ODI series against India, beginning November 4. The T20I series starts in Christchurch on October 22.
“We're gutted for Rachin,” New Zealand head coach Rob Walter said. “He's going to play a big role for us this summer so it's important that he doesn't rush his rehab, but we're optimistic he'll be back for the ODIs.”
