Mining Engineers' 36th National Convention to be held in Nagpur on Sept 11-12

Nagpur, Sep 8 (UNI): The Institution of Engineers (India), Nagpur Local Centre, will organise the 36th National Convention of Mining Engineers and a national seminar on September 11 and 12 at hotel Radission Blu, bringing together experts, industry leaders, researchers and academicians from across the country, press release said.
The theme of this year's seminar is "Mining for Viksit Bharat @ 2047". Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis will inaugurate the convention on September 11, while union Coal and Mines Minister G. Kishan Reddy will attend as the guest of honour. IEI President Manish Kothari will preside over the inaugural session.
A convention souvenir will be released on the occasion and engineers with notable achievements will be honoured with the IEI Young Engineers Award.
