Deputy CM Pawar reviews development projects under 15th Finance Commission

Mumbai, July 2 ( UNI) The central government is providing full support for the development projects being implemented in the state through the 15th Finance Commission, said Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar today.
These development projects for the state should be planned considering the next 100 years and it should be completed within the planned time, he said.
It should be ensured that all the works are of good quality, he said.
Pawar said that action should be taken to ensure that all the funds of the 15th Finance Commission are available on time and spent by the end of the current financial year by maintaining coordination and contact with the central authorities.
He gave clear instructions in a meeting held at the Mantralaya today to ensure that not even a single rupee of the funds received for the development of the state is returned.
He reviewed the progress of various development projects underway in the state under the 15th Finance Commission, including creating artificial coral reefs in the sea near Sindhudurg district using the retired INS Guldar ship from the Indian Navy and creating world-class scuba diving, submarine experience, underwater museum and several others.

Mentally ill woman jumps into sea, saved by police in Mumbai
