Deputy CM Eknath Shinde visits Buldhana farms, reviews crop loss

Buldhana, Sep 23 (UNI) Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Wednesday visited drought-affected areas in Buldhana district to assess crop losses caused by scanty rainfall and interact with distressed farmers.
During his visit to Chitoda village in Khamgaon tehsil, Shinde inspected soybean crops in farmers' fields and took stock of the damage.
He held direct interactions with farmers, who highlighted problems arising from inadequate rainfall, water scarcity, crop losses and the resulting financial difficulties.
