Fadnavis hails Modi’s 25 years of governance, says journey dedicated to public service and development

Nagpur, Sep 17 (UNI) Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Thursday hailed Prime Minister Narendra Modi's completion of 25 years in public office saying the milestone reflects a journey dedicated to public service and development.
He said the period has been characterised by sustained efforts towards welfare and progress.
Speaking at a programme organised on the occasion of Prime Minister Modi's birthday and the completion of 25 years in public office in Nagpur, Fadnavis said beneficiaries of various government schemes participated in an "Aashirwad Deep" initiative to convey their blessings.
"In my constituency, around 500 beneficiaries of different welfare schemes came together and lit lamps as a mark of their blessings. Those who have benefited from various schemes are expressing their gratitude and good wishes," he said.
Fadnavis expressed hope that the blessings of beneficiaries would inspire the Prime Minister to continue working for the nation and help realise the vision of a "Viksit Bharat" at the earliest.
He said Modi continues to be regarded as one of the most popular leaders globally and has established a unique connection with people across diverse sections of society.
Responding to allegations made by Leader of Opposition Vijay Wadettiwar, Fadnavis said he was unaware of the specific remarks and did not take them seriously.
"I do not know what he has said. He has a habit of making statements every day, and I do not take him seriously," the Chief Minister said.
