Eknath Shinde speaks in Gujarati in praise of PM Modi in Vadnagar

Mumbai, Sep 17 (UNI) Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde spoke in Gujarati language at PM Narandra Modi’s birthplace and native village of Vadnagar, in Gujarat on Thursday, praising his work, on the occasion of PM Modi’s 76th birthday.
Speaking at a ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyaan’ event organised at Vadnagar, to celebrate PM Modi’s 76th birthday, which was attended by union Home Minister Amit Shah, Maharashtra Deputy CM Eknath Shinde said in Gujarati, “Vadnagar’s son has become a son of the entire land, and the country has become a beloved of the world. Today I feel proud of this land. On behalf of Maharashtra and its 12.5 crore people as well as the Shiv Sena, I wish PM Modi a happy birthday”.
Eknath Shinde mentioned how union Home Minister Amit Shah said that the birthday event of Prime Minister Modi means that people have seen him as the Chief Minister of Gujarat and the Prime Minister of India for 25 years, which is a matter of pride for the country.
Therefore, PM Modi’s birthday celebrations must be celebrated with joy even as work should be done to ensure that government schemes reach every poor person,
Shinde said. “In the case of Modi, we do not measure his age, but we measure the height of his achievements. Modi’s achievements can be compared to the height of the Himalayas and his work for the people of India can be compared to the depth of the Arabian Sea.
"The voice of a small child born on the soil of Vadnagar resounds not only in Gujarat or the country today, but also the entire world. This is a matter of good fortune for all of us,” Eknath Shinde said.
“This is why his historic journey from Vadnagar to Varanasi is not merely a journey, but a wonderful journey from service to dedication. From service to resolution, from resolution to transformation and from transformation to the goal of a developed India (Viksit Bharat), this is an unforgettable journey. In 25 years, his positions changed and his responsibilities increased. Yet, one thing never changed, and that is his resolve to serve the people. This is a very big thing,” Maharashtra Deputy CM Eknath Shinde said.
Shinde said that when the Prime Minister of the country changes, not only the government changes, but also the future of the country.
“A poor mother received a gas stove, a family which got their own pucca house, a person who opened a bank account for the first time in his life and a family whose house got piped water. Such work of providing food, clothing and shelter has been done by our Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This is the real meaning of public service,” Eknath Shinde said, praising the PM’s work.
Shinde said that under PM Modi’s rule, the country is progressing rapidly and scaling new heights.
“The economies of many countries have stagnated, but India went from being the 10th largest economy in the world, to become the world’s fourth largest economy. Now we are determined to rise from the fourth place and become the third largest economy in the world,” Shinde said.
He stated that campaigns initiated by Modi like ‘Make In India', ‘Startup India’ and ‘Self-reliant (Atma Nirbhar) India’ are moving ahead successfully.
“By removing Article 370 under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he has also proved that Kashmir is an integral part of our country. Whenever it comes to the security of the country, India has the ability to enter the enemy’s house and strike. This is what Modi has shown. This is the new India under Modi,” Eknath Shinde said.
