Maha: APEBDC Chairman Patil expresses displeasure over Maratha community's criticism of Fadnavis

Mumbai, Sep 10 (UNI) Annasaheb Patil Economic Backward Development Corporation (APEBDC) Chairman Narendra Patil today expressed his displeasure over criticism directed at Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis by some Maratha agitators, arguing that Fadnavis has done more for the Maratha community than any other previous chief minister.
Addressing a press conference here at the BJP state office, he claimed that the government's support to the Annasaheb Patil Economic Development Corporation had helped increase the number of beneficiaries to around 1.8 lakh.
He asked Maratha protesters to maintain restraint, saying taking an extreme stand and holding society to ransom is completely wrong,.

Maha: Mumbai fuel dealers warn of shut down against UPI MDR from Oct 15

Mumbai, Sep 19 (UNI) The Petrol Dealers’ Association, Mumbai, has written a letter to the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) requesting a complete exemption for fuel retailers from the proposed UPI MDR charges, even as it also warned of not accepting UPI payments at fuel stations across the city from October 15, if MDR (Merchant Discount Rate) charges are imposed on UPI transactions above Rs 2,000.
