Nitin Nabin visits Siddhivinayak, Lalbaugcha Raja, Fadnavis and Deputy CM shinde residence in Mumbai

Mumbai, Sep 16 (UNI) Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president Nitin Nabin, who was on a one-day visit to Maharashtra, offered prayers at the Siddhivinayak Temple and Lalbaugcha Raja in Mumbai on Wednesday.
Nabin also visited several Ganeshotsav mandals and temples in the city and performed puja.
He prayed for the happiness, peace and prosperity of people across the country.
He was accompanied by Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, BJP national co-organisation secretary Shivprakash, state BJP president Ravindra Chavan, Cultural Affairs Minister Ashish Shelar, Skill Development and Employment Minister Mangal Prabhat Lodha, Marketing Minister Jaykumar Rawal, Mumbai BJP president Amit Satam, MLA Sanjay Upadhyay, Mumbai Mayor Ritu Tawde and Mumbai Yuva Morcha president Deepak Singh, among others.
Nabin was welcomed at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport by BJP workers and office-bearers who had gathered there.
He later visited the Siddhivinayak Temple at Prabhadevi and performed the rituals. He subsequently visited Lalbaugcha Raja and offered prayers.
Siddhivinayak Temple Trust treasurer Pawan Tripathi welcomed Nabin and other dignitaries during the visit.
Later in the afternoon, Nabin visited the Ganesh idol at Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis's official residence, Varsha, at Malabar Hill.
He also visited the residence of Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde to offer prayers.
Nabin also met Deputy Chief Minister Sunetra Pawar before visiting the public Ganeshotsav mandal at Bandra Reclamation, where he offered prayers and interacted with party workers. UNI SP SAS

NGO urges Bombay HC not to permit protest by Jarange Patil

Mumbai, Sep 16 (UNI) The Dadar-based Amy Foundation, run by a certain Piyush Shah, filed a petition in the Bombay High Court here on Wednesday seeking a direction not to grant permission to Maratha reservation agitator Manoj Jarange Patil to protest in Mumbai, sources said.
According to sources, the petition filed by the Amy Foundation will be heard in the Mumbai High Court on Thursday.

Udhna–Pune Amrit Bharat Express to soon run via Nandurbar

Nandurbar, Sep 16 (UNI) The Central and Western Railway zones have approved the launch of a new Amrit Bharat Express between Udhna and Pune, which will run via Nandurbar, bringing relief to railway passengers in the region.
The train will depart from Udhna and travel through Nandurbar, Amalner, Jalgaon, Chalisgaon, Manmad, Kopargaon, Ahilyanagar, Daund Chord Line and Hadapsar before reaching Pune.
Passengers had been demanding a direct train connecting Surat and Udhna with Pune via Nandurbar for a long time.
