Panchayat elections in Rajasthan to be held in 4-phases between Oct 8 and Nov 28

Jaipur, Oct 3 (UNI) The four- phased elections to reconstitute the new House of the panchayat raj institutions in Rajasthan will be held between October 8 and November 28.
The State Election Commissioner Rajeshwar Singh told the media here this afternoon that the phase-wise electoral process with filing of nominations will open from October 8, 2026 during which nominations will be filed between October 8-13, 2026 for the first phase, between October 13-16 for phase-2, October 19 - 23 for phase-3 and October 31 - November 4, 2026 for phase - 4 for election of members to zila parishads and panchayat samitis.
Phase-wise nominations for election of panch and sarpanch in local gram panchayats would be held on October, 24, 30, November 5 and 15, Singh said.
