Patna candidate seeks probe into absence of CCTVs at his Teachers’ constituency counting hall

Patna, Oct 27 (UNI) Sanjeev Kumar, a candidate in the Patna Teachers’ Constituency election to the Bihar Legislative Council, Tuesday raised concerns over the apparent absence of CCTV cameras inside the vote-counting hall and sought immediate intervention by the election authorities.
In a written complaint to the Electoral Officer-cum-Divisional Commissioner, Patna, Kumar said he did not see CCTV cameras inside the counting hall when he entered the premises during the counting process, although cameras appeared to be installed at other locations.
