Power, road infrastruture to be restored soon in rain-hit areas: CM Yogi

Lucknow, Oct 3 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed officials to expedite the restoration of electricity and road infrastructure affected by heavy rains across various parts of the state.
The Chief Minister instructed the Electricity Department to immediately inspect rain-affected areas, assess damage to power infrastructure and undertake repairs on a priority basis. Officials have been directed to repair damaged poles, wires and other electrical equipment and restore power supply at the earliest.
Yogi Adityanath also stressed that people should not face prolonged power outages due to rain-related damage. Local teams have been asked to remain active in affected areas and address complaints promptly.

Lucknow, Oct 6 (UNI) A major fire broke out at the Tata Projects workers' colony, located near the Laxman Chowk area, approximately 800 meters from the Choudhary Charan Singh International Airport, at around 6.55 am on Tuesday.
According to airport officials, upon receiving the information, the Airport Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) team responded immediately and dispatched a Domestic Fire Tender (DFT) to the scene.
