Punjab promises investment approvals within 45 days, launches two digital portals

Chandigarh, Oct 8 (UNI) Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Thursday launched two digital portals aimed at accelerating industrial investment approvals and connecting skilled youth with employers, promising to clear applications through a single-window system within 45 days.
Launching the HUNAR Punjab and Fast-Track Punjab portals, Mann said the state had attracted investment worth Rs 1.89 lakh crore since 2022, generating employment opportunities for 6.31 lakh people, according to government figures.
"The launch of HUNAR Punjab and FastTrack Punjab is an important step for Punjab's industry and youth. HUNAR Punjab will bridge the gap between industry and skilled youth," Mann said.
He said around 1,750 institutions had registered on the HUNAR portal, which would facilitate recruitment, internships, industrial training, and collaboration between educational institutions and industries.
The Fast-Track Punjab portal will enable investors to obtain approvals and track financial incentives online.
"Investors applying through the FastTrack Punjab Portal will receive all approvals within 45 days," the chief minister said.
Industries Minister Aman Arora said the portals would improve transparency and reduce administrative hurdles for businesses.
