Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker administers oath to newly-elected MLA Sanjeev Arora

Chandigarh, June 28 (UNI) Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhwan administered oath
to newly-elected MLA Sanjeev Arora today at Punjab Vidhan Sabha Secretariat in the presence of Manish Sisodia, former Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi, Cabinet Minister Aman Arora, Cabinet Minister Harpal Singh Cheema and MLA Budh Ram.
Speaker presented literature of Punjab Vidhan Sabha and an i-pad to Sanjeev Arora.
Sanjeev Arora said that he will take guidance from the senior leadership of the Aam Aadmi Party and leave no stone unturned for the welfare of his constituency, Ludhiana West.

The Speaker highlighted that our Government has started live telecast of all the proceedings of the House so that transparency can be maintained in the House.
However, previous Governments kept the proceedings secret so that people could not become aware about their work.
Speaker extended his best wishes to MLA Sanjeev Arora.

He was addressing a public gathering in Tapkara, Jashpur district, where he inaugurated a new tehsil office and announced the town’s elevation to Nagar Panchayat status, measures aimed at deepening administrative outreach in the region.

Patwari suspended in Bharatmala land scam found hanging, Congress demands CBI probe

Raipur, June 28 (UNI) Suresh Kumar Mishra, a 62-year-old patwari suspended in connection with an alleged land compensation scam under the Bharatmala Pariyojana, was found dead this afternoon at a farmhouse in Joki village under Sakri police jurisdiction. He was due to retire on June 30.
