Regrettable that AAP leaders rejected by people in Delhi are protesting in name of votes: Kapoor

New Delhi, Oct 4 (UNI) Delhi BJP spokesperson Praveen Shankar Kapoor on Sunday said that it was extremely unfortunate that a handful of people associated with Communist ideology are bent on allegedly vitiating the national capital’s political atmosphere and disrupting law and order.
According to the Delhi BJP spokesperson, the faces seen hovering near Jantar Mantar area, two or three times a day, were the same that were seen during the CJP movement in the month of July.
He claimed that the Aam Aadmi Party and its allies are failing to even mobilise 50 people from the national capital, and even among those who turn up, videos seen on Saturday revealed that either one or two buses are being brought in daily from Punjab, or students from a university, who were associated with the Communist ideology. They are the ones participating and raising objectionable and uncivilised anti-government slogans, he said.
The spokesperson said that posting a video of AAP's state unit chief Saurabh Bharadwaj being removed from the protest on social media platform is somehting laughable, while it was regrettable that AAP leaders, rejected by the people of Delhi, are now staging protests in the name of the right to vote alongside the very Congress party that imposed Emergency in the past, and had snatched away fundamental rights of the people of the country.
He questioned that whether AAP, and Communist leaders expect the police to allow them to act arbitrarily and disrupt law and order in the national capital.
Meanwhile, on Sunday, there was security deployment in the area around Parliament street, Jantar Mantar, in wake of the prohibitory orders under section 163 of the BNSS, while there was no permission for protests.
However, people still tried reaching Jantar Mantar and India Gate. They were detained by the police, and later released.
