Seven injured in wild Jackal attack in coastal Kendrapara

Kendrapara, June 26 (UNI) A rogue jackal has gone on a biting spree in Dhumat Gram Panchayat under Nikirai police limits, injuring as many as seven people, including two women, over the past two days.
Panic has gripped the villages to such an extent that residents are afraid to step out of their homes during the evening hours.
Local residents have urged the District Collector to take immediate action and instruct forest officials to capture the jackal.
