Sharad Pawar discharged from Pune hospital, leaves for Mumbai

Pune, Nov 4 ( UNI) Veteran Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader and former union Minister Sharad Pawar was discharged from Ruby Hall Clinic in Pune on Wednesday after undergoing treatment for two days.
Following his discharge, Pawar left directly for his Mumbai residence, Silver Oak, instead of returning to his hometown, Baramati.

He was accompanied by his daughter and MP Supriya Sule and his wife Pratibha Pawar.
Medical sources said Pawar's health condition had improved considerably and he was now stable. Doctors have advised him to take adequate rest following his treatment.
Pawar had been admitted to Ruby Hall Clinic two days ago after complaining of a cough and fatigue. Considering his health condition, he was immediately hospitalised, and medical treatment was initiated. Doctors also conducted several medical tests to assess his condition.
His hospitalisation had forced him to cancel his scheduled drought-affected area inspection tour as well as all other planned engagements.
After two days of treatment, doctors found his condition stable and decided to discharge him on Wednesday.
Pawar came out of the hospital in a wheelchair and acknowledged the presence of party workers and office-bearers gathered outside by raising his hand. Photographs and videos of the veteran leader greeting supporters soon circulated on social media.
He subsequently got into his car and left for Mumbai. Pratibha Pawar and Supriya Sule were accompanying him.
Before leaving the hospital, Supriya Sule expressed her gratitude to the doctors and the entire medical staff by folding her hands and thanking them for the treatment and care provided to her father. Doctors have advised Pawar to rest and avoid strenuous activities as he continues his recovery.
