Smita Mishra, wife of astrologer Indu Prakash Mishra, joins Cong

Lucknow, Sep 28 (UNI) Smita Mishra, wife of the country's leading astrologer Indu Prakash Mishra and a social worker, joined the Congress party here on Monday, along with dozens of her associates and supporters.
Smita Mishra joined the Congress party at a function held at Nehru Bhawan, the Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee headquarters, in the presence of state Congress president and former minister Ajay Rai. State Congress Committee joining-in-charge Nitin Sharma administered primary membership to her and those accompanying her.
Smita Mishra expressed confidence in the Congress's policies and the party's top leadership: Mallikarjun Kharge, Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, and Priyanka Gandhi.
On this occasion, Ajay Rai said that the continued joining of intellectuals from society is a sign of change. He claimed that the Congress is growing stronger and will oust the Bharatiya Janata Party from power in the upcoming assembly elections.
The state Congress president said that along with strengthening the party organization, the campaign to connect different sections of society with the Congress is continuing. UNI MBD SAS
