SP to increase 27 K votes in each assembly segement in UP: Akhilesh Yadav

Lucknow, Sep 20 (UNI) Samajwadi Party National President Akhilesh Yadav, while announcing the decision taken at the State Executive meeting at the party’s state headquarters here on Sunday, said, “We have collectively decided to increase 27,000 votes in each assembly constituency. This way, we will reduce the BJP’s vote share by 27,000 votes. These votes will come to the Samajwadi Party. We will use technology in elections, connect with the people, assist in securing justice, and treat everyone with respect. During the 10 years of the BJP government, every section of society has been saddened and suffering.”
Addressing a press conference after the State Executive meeting, Yadav alleged that the BJP government betrayed farmers.
“The promise to double their income remained unfulfilled. They didn’t even receive the cost price of their crops. They kept the profits from sugarcane. Sugar became expensive. The use of ethanol reduced vehicle mileage. Youth are largely unemployed, he added.
Speaking at the Samajwadi Party’s state executive meeting in the Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia auditorium, he alleged that the BJP’s intentions have never favored reservation. There are numerous examples of lateral entry and outsourcing. PDA officers are not given good positions. Fewer than 10 per cent of PDA officers from the community are involved in assembly election-related work. This number will drop to zero by election time.
He stated that the government has eliminated jobs. The highest number of paper leaks occurred in Uttar Pradesh. Investment hasn’t come, and land is lying vacant. Land has been taken from farmers and they haven’t been paid the increased circle rate. Ayodhya is an example of a land scam. Donations have been stolen. The hospitals themselves are sick.
Akhilesh said that prosperity is impossible without harmony and social cohesion.
“The BJP has hurt people, spoiled the atmosphere, and spread hatred in society. I want to thank my Muslim brothers for the patience they have shown. The government is constantly trying to spoil the atmosphere, but they are demonstrating patience," he said.
