SRS Group receives ‘Quality Standards’ Award at India-Africa Seed Summit

Hyderabad, Sep 17 (UNI) Sri Rama Agri Genetics (India) Private Limited part of SRS Group, has been conferred the ‘Quality Standards’ Award at the 2nd India-Africa Seed Summit 2026 held in Hyderabad.
The award was presented to SRS Group Chairman and Managing Director Chunduri Ram Babu by Telangana Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla at a ceremony at Marigold Hotel, Begumpet on Thursday, in recognition of the group’s 28-year legacy in agricultural innovation, stringent quality control and development of climate-resilient hybrid seeds.
The summit was organised by the Indian Chamber of Food and Agriculture (ICFA) in association with the African Seed Trade Association, National Seed Association of India and ICRISAT, under the theme “Seeding Solutions for India and Africa: Cultivating Partnerships for a Food-Secure Future.”
SRS Group operates in research, production and marketing of hybrid and open-pollinated seeds covering maize, sunflower, sorghum, pearl millet, cotton and vegetables, with a growing presence in Africa and Asia. The company has a DSIR-recognised research facility and NABL-accredited testing laboratories.
Ram Babu said the award recognised the group’s focus on scientific research, quality and climate-resilient seeds aimed at improving farm productivity and supporting food security across diverse agro-climatic regions.

Stock market ends on mixed note, insurance firms' stock rise
