Telangana govt permits enhanced ticket prices for 'The Paradise' Movie from Sept 24

Hyderabad, Sep 21 (UNI) The Telangana government has permitted enhancement of cinema ticket prices for the Telugu movie 'The Paradise', scheduled for release on September 24, 2026, across theatres in the state.
As per an order issued by the Home (General) Department on Sunday, theatres have been permitted to charge enhanced rates for five shows a day from September 24 to October 3.
For single-screen theatres, ticket prices will be increased by Rs 48, including GST, from September 24 to 27 and by Rs 23, including GST, from September 28 to October 3.
For multiplexes and special theatres, the enhancement will be Rs 95, including GST, for the first period and Rs 45 for the second period.
The government has also permitted one special show on September 23 at 6.30 pm, with tickets priced at Rs 500, inclusive of GST.
As part of the permission, the film's producer, Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Cinemas LLP, has been directed to contribute Rs 1 crore to the Telugu Film Industry Employees' Welfare Committee Account operated by the FDC for the benefit and welfare of film industry employees and workers.
The order also directed theatres to screen advertisements highlighting the adverse effects of narcotics, drugs and cybercrime.
District Collectors, Commissioners of Police and cinema licensing authorities have been directed to ensure compliance with the order. UNI KNR SAS
