There should be no divide among youth in country: Nitin Nabin

Varanasi, Oct 8 (UNI) BJP National President Nitin Nabin on Thursday called for greater unity among India’s youth, arguing that young people should not be divided into categories based on age or generation.
Addressing students and young people in Varanasi, Nabin also spoke about employment, artificial intelligence and development in Uttar Pradesh, while asserting that opportunities and benefits meant for Indian youth should reach them across states.
Nabin said, “Why are we dividing our youth? Teenagers existed even before. No one should divide them into Alpha, Beta and Gamma. Our country was and is a nation of youth.”
He said young people from different parts of the country should receive opportunities and benefits in their respective states, while alleging that the rights of Indian youth should not go to “infiltrators from abroad.”
Responding to questions from students on careers and employment, Nabin said substantial investments were being made in artificial intelligence and said, "India would soon emerge as an AI hub."
He also highlighted development in Uttar Pradesh, saying the state’s image has changed from being associated with mafias and criminals to one focused on infrastructure and investment.
“Expressways are being built, a defence corridor is being constructed, and 40 per cent of employment in these areas is going to young people from Uttar Pradesh,” he claimed.
Nabin said young people under previous governments had often channelled their energy in the “wrong direction”, but asserted that the situation had changed. He also highlighted the expansion of legal education, saying law schools are being opened across the country and that students pursuing law are building promising careers.
Earlier in the day, Nabin visited the Kashi Vishwanath Temple and offered prayers before interacting with young people at the Kashi Study Centre. BJP state president Pankaj Chaudhary was also present.
Speaking about the Kashi Vishwanath corridor, Nabin said visiting Kashi and seeking the blessings of Baba Vishwanath is part of the country’s tradition. He congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for the development of the corridor, saying it has given a “grand and distinctive shape” to a major centre of faith.
