Three Telangana men freed from Malaysian jail with KTR’s intervention, return home safely

Hyderabad, June 23 (UNI) In a major relief for families back home, three more residents of
Telangana who were imprisoned in Malaysia have returned safely, thanks to the efforts of
Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Working President K T Rama Rao (KTR).
Rachakonda Naresh and Gunda Srinivas from Lingapura village in Kadem mandal of Nizamabad district, and Yamunuri Ravinder from Munyal village in Dasturabad mandal, were released from Malaysian custody and reached home on Monday. This marks the return of the remaining three of
six Telangana natives who had been unjustly jailed in Malaysia.
Last month, the first three individuals were repatriated, and now, through continued diplomatic and on-ground efforts by BRS senior leader and Khanapur constituency in-charge Bhukya Johnson Naik, the remaining three have been freed.
Acting on the directions of KTR, Johnson Naik travelled to Malaysia, coordinated with the Indian and Malaysian embassies, appointed legal counsel, and bore the full expenses of their release and travel back to India.
Overwhelmed with emotion, the freed individuals expressed deep gratitude. “When we thought our lives in Malaysian jails were coming to an end, KTR gave us hope. We will remain indebted to him and to Johnson Naik, who came to Malaysia and worked tirelessly for our freedom,” they said.
