Trailer of crime drama series 'Mistry' released

Mumbai, June 9 (UNI) The riveting trailer for "Mistry", produced by Banijay Asia in association with Universal International Studios and directed by Rishabh Seth, has been officially unleashed by JioCinema and is set to stream from June 27, 2025 .
"Mistry" is a cerebral crime thriller that intertwines mystery, eccentricity and emotional complexity.will be seen. This series is an Indian adaptation of the popular American series Monk. Set against the backdrop of a modern Indian metropolis, "Mistry" follows the enigmatic Armaan Mistry, portrayed by Ram Kapoor, a brilliant yet idiosyncratic detective whose quirks are as notable as his deductive prowess. Mona Singh plays his fearless and sharp partner in the role of Sehmat. Along with them, Shikha Talsania will be seen in the role of an energetic Sharanya and Kshitish Date in the role of a passionate policeman Bunty.
Ram Kapoor aka Armaan Mistry said, “Armaan is one of the strangest, most fascinating characters I’ve played. He has his quirks but they aren’t just that, they are his coping mechanisms. It’s his way of bringing order to a disordered world. And yet, somehow, he’s the guy who walks into chaos and finds clarity. The experience of working on this project and accepting Mistry was one of the most fulfilling ones I have had in my career. Mistry is bizarre, fun, unpredictable—and full of soul. I am looking forward to the audiences meeting him on JioHotstar.”
Mona Singh, on portraying Sehmat said, “Sehmat is strong, self-assured, and crucial to how the story unfolds. She doesn’t tiptoe around Armaan’s oddities; instead, she challenges him, balances him, even outwits him at times. She’s an anchor with her own motivations and sharp edges. Mistry makes you laugh, then makes you think—and then makes you laugh again because the characters are so unapologetically themselves. I think that’s what will stick with the audience.”
