Two people, stray dog burnt alive as HT wires snap in Hyderabad

Hyderabad, June 15 (UNI) In a tragic incident, two people and a stray dog were burnt alive after high-tension electric wires snapped at Sagar Ring Road in LB Nagar during the early hours of Sunday.
According to police, the accident occurred when 11 KV wires suddenly broke and fell on the roadside where the victims were sleeping. Upon receiving information, the LB Nagar police alerted electricity authorities and averted a major disaster by ensuring the immediate shutdown of the power supply.
While the victims were identified as beggars, their full identities are yet to be ascertained. Their bodies have been shifted to Osmania Hospital for post-mortem.
A case has been registered and an investigation is underway, police added.
