Union Minister Ram Mohan distributes appointment letters to 200 candidates at Rozgar Mela

Visakhapatnam, Sep 19 (UNI) union Civil Aviation Minister Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu on Saturday distributed appointment letters to 200 newly selected candidates at a Rozgar Mela held at the Kala Vani Auditorium in Port Stadium here, and described securing a Central government job as a matter of pride and recognition.
Addresing after inaugurating the programme, the union minister said the first day of employment was among the most memorable moments in a person’s life.
While birthdays, wedding anniversaries and other occasions created cherished memories, getting the first job brought a special sense of fulfilment, he said.
Interacting with the newly recruited youth, Ram Mohan said lakhs of young people competed for government jobs, making their selection a significant achievement.
He urged the candidates to remember the support and sacrifices of their parents and family members behind their success.
Speaking on the occasion, Visakhapatnam MP M Sribharat stressed the need for continuous learning and skill development amid rapid technological changes, particularly the growing adoption of Artificial Intelligence.
“Securing a job is only the beginning. Continuous learning and skill development are essential to remain relevant, adapt to technological changes and make the most of emerging opportunities,” Sribharat said.
He said young professionals should not consider their responsibility complete after securing employment but should continuously acquire new skills and adapt to changing workplace requirements.
Sribharat said talented and capable officers and employees were being provided opportunities to demonstrate their abilities and contribute to the country’s development.
CBIC Chief Commissioner N Sridhar, Income Tax Chief Commissioner Danda Srinivas, IRS officer and Principal Commissioner K.V.V.G. Diwakar, L.V.V.S. Patrudu, Additional Commissioner N Balaram and others attended the programme.
