Maha: AI-based building diagnostic centre launched in Pune

Pune, Sep 26 (UNI) The Gruh Sanjeevan Foundation and FoxScan have jointly launched a Building Diagnostic Experience Centre in Pune to promote technology- and data-based building inspection, defect identification and maintenance.
The non-profit initiative aims to make building diagnostics more accessible and practical while also providing skill-development opportunities for contractors, civil professionals, painters and maintenance personnel, said a release here today.
The centre will demonstrate the use of technology to identify building-related problems at an early stage and support maintenance decisions.
The platform combines imaging, laser-based surface measurement, artificial intelligence and machine-learning-based defect analysis, automated diagnostic reports and structured recommendations for corrective measures.
According to FoxScan founder and CEO Abhishek Jagdale, the system has been developed using data from more than 40,000 inspected properties. He said the technology is intended to help professionals carry out diagnostics, document defects and generate reports.

Gruh Sanjeevan Foundation chairman Milind Jagtap said the initiative aims to make building diagnostics accessible to contractors, painters, engineers and housing societies.
Skill-development programmes for maintenance supervisors of housing societies are also proposed, he added. UNI SP SS
