Bihar: Helpline centre inaugurated for providing information on land related government schemes

Patna, June 1 (UNI) Bihar Revenue and Land Reforms Minister Sanjay Saraogi on Sunday inaugurated a helpline centre for providing information to people about various schemes launched by the government related to land and revenue.
Saraogi inaugurated a helpline/call centre in Danapur and said it would provide all information to people relating to schemes of the Revenue and Land Reforms department. It would also help in the redressal of grievances of the people within the stipulated time frame, he added.
Opening of the helpline centre is a strong step towards ensuring benefits to the people of digitisation ", the Minister said adding the administrative machinery would get strengthened with such initiative of the state government. It was in line with the vision of the NDA government for " digital Bihar, vibrant Bihar ", he pointed out.
Additional Chief Secretary of the Revenue and Land Reforms Department Deepak Kumar Singh said issues related to his department usually remained a complicated subject among the people. It was a clear cut stand of the government that no scheme could succeed and yield desired results if people were not made aware properly about its benefits, he added.
"Helpline centre would be managed by highly trained personnel so that people interested to take benefits from this centre, could get full information without any trace of ambiguity", Singh said adding that it was a wonderful step on the part of a state government to provide benefits to the people of schemes rolled out for them. People should come forward and take advantage of the helpline centre as much as possible, he stated. UNI KKS SSP
