Bihar: Jan Suraj founder targets Nitish govt

Jehanabad, May 4 (UNI) Founder of Jan Suraj, Prashant Kishor on Sunday accused the Bihar government of deceiving the people on the issues of caste census, land survey and development of Dalit-Mahadalit society.
He told news persons here that these issues remained at the centre of Bihar's politics, but the state government deceived the people on these issues.
He said that to expose the reality of the state government, Jan Suraj would embark upon Bihar badlav Yatra (Bihar transformation March) from May 20 to apprise the people about the facts.
Kishor said the march will start from Shatabdi Yara, the birthplace of Jai Prakash (JP).
Justifying his decision to start his march from the birthplace of JP, Kishor said that it was being done because whenever people recall the Total Revolution slogan of JP they also remember his incomplete dream of system transformation.
Kishor said that for past 35 years Bihar was being ruled by the so-called followers of JP and accused them of ruining the state.
With an aim to revive the resolve to change the system, the march is being started from JP's birthplace, he added.
Taking a potshot at the Leader of the Opposition in Bihar Assembly and former Deputy Chief Minister Tejaswi Prasad Yadav, the Jan Suraj leader said that people in the Raghopur assembly constituency from where Yadav was elected still have to commute by boat for six months in a year.
He noted that Raghopur was still to witness the light of development.
He claimed that if the development of the constituencies of all Chief Ministers and Deputy Chief Ministers of the country was compared, Raghopur will be at the lowest level.
Speaking about the prevailing confusion on the CM face of the grand alliance, Kishor said that it would be Tejaswi who would be the CM face of the alliance and added that all meetings and political activities of the Congress were aimed at grabbing more and more seats in the elections.
Terming Congress as sycophant of RJD, he claimed that as long as RJD was in the alliance, the face of the chief minister will be a member of RJD chief Lalu Yadav's family and Congress will have to accept him.
