Patna, Apr 7 (UNI) Accusing Congress and RJD of committing the "sin" of making Bihar poor and backward, Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary has poked fun at the Grand Old Party's leader Rahul Gandhi's Begusarai yatra saying the "fuse bulb" of "Tukde Tukde gang" cannot be plugged in by carrying the RJD symbol lantern.
Chaudhary said at an official function in Nawada on Sunday that Gandhi's Yatra will neither remove the darkness that has engulfed the Congress nor would he be able to plug in the fuse bulb of the Tukde Tukde gang with the help of the lantern in the state.
The country has already negated Congress, he claimed.
He alleged that the first families of Congress and RJD both committed the sin of making Bihar a poor state and were now "shedding crocodile tears".
The BJP asked Gandhi to apologise publicly for the atrocities his party committed on the people of Bihar by siding with RJD leader Lalu Prasad Yadav in cases of collective migration, unemployment, crime, corruption and massacres of Dalits.
Challenging Rahul Gandhi to disclose in whose regime the most horrific riots of Bhagalpur took place, Choudhary said if the Congress leader had the courage, he would have started his journey from Bhagalpur and not Begusarai.
Claiming that Bihar has become the fastest-growing state under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Chaudhary said investment was increasing and 2.5 crore people have crossed the poverty line.
Chaudhary said the state government would attain the target of providing 12 lakh government jobs and 38 lakh employment opportunities by the next Assembly elections slated to take place towards the end of the year. UNI RS BD SSP
