LOPAR in Bay of Bengal, Rains likely in several parts of Odisha from April 9- IMD

Bhubaneswar, Apr 7 (UNI) A Low-Pressure Area has been formed over central parts of the South Bay of Bengal on Monday under the influence of an upper air cyclonic circulation over southeast Bay of Bengal & neighbourhood, Met sources said
It is likely to move northwestwards over the southwest Bay of Bengal till April 8 and thereafter likely to move nearly northwards over the westcentral Bay of Bengal during the subsequent 48 hours.
Met sources said that under the impact of low pressure, light rain or thundershower is very likely to occur over the districts of Koraput, Rayagada, Kandhamal, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Kendrapada, Jagatsinghpur from April 9.
The IMD has already issued yellow warnings for these districts.
