Cooperative college to be opened soon in Bihar: Prem

Patna, Mar 31 (UNI) Bihar Cooperative Minister Prem Kumar said that a Cooperative college would soon be opened in Bihar to impart proper education about cooperative to the youth of the state.
Kumar said here on Sunday that the process of setting up the college would be initiated soon. He said that the Union Minister Amit Shah has recently inaugurated Tribhuvan Cooperative University.
He further said that to export organic vegetables from Bihar, an arrangement for the packaging of the vegetables was being made, for which two acres of land were being
arranged.
The Minister said that micro ATM cards would be distributed among the Cooperative committees, in which the dairy cooperative society would be given priority.
NABARD has also agreed to provide a subsidy for the purchase of 785 micro ATM, the Minister said, and informed that 1500 cooperative societies would get micro ATM cards within the next 6 months to provide them with banking facilities at the doorstep.
