Coordinated guidance from administration needed: Jakhar

Chandigarh, May 9 (UNI) Punjab BJP chief Sunil Jakhar on Friday said that in light of the current security situation, the "absence of timely coordinated guidance from the administration causes confusion".

Tagging Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Union as well as Punjab government he wrote on social

media "X" that it was imperative that clear advisories and action plans be communicated to the public without delay.

"I strongly urge both the Ministry of Home Affairs and state authorities to immediately issue clear, consistent guidelines for the people," he said adding that with blackouts in some areas, sirens in others, and no communication in many places, public confusion and anxieties were growing.

Jakhar said that the situation demanded clarity and people needed to be informed of clear dos and

don’ts in particular situations.
