Former bureaucrat joins Apni Party

Srinagar, July 2 (UNI) Former bureaucrat Farooq Renzu Shah today joined the Apni Party at a function in Srinagar.
Shah, who has served in J&K’s administration as Additional Divisional Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner, and Director of Information, was given a warm welcome.
Speaking with the media at the function Apni Party president Altaf Bukhari said the party has intensified its activities.
“We are now actively engaging with our cadre and leadership in various districts, while also welcoming more and more political and social figures into the party fold to further strengthen the party,” Bukhari said.

He said the poor performance of the elected government, even after nine months in office, has made people realise that they were misled by the ruling party.
“This is why people are now flocking to join the Apni Party. They have come to understand that Apni Party is the only political entity that did not attempt to mislead the public during the election campaign,” he said.
