Patna, March 1 (UNI) Taking serious note of absence of the picture of Bharat Ratna Jananayak Karpoori Thakur among several great men at Patna junction, Rajya Sabha MP and Rashtriya Lok Morcha leader Upendra Kushwaha urged the railways to put the picture of Thakur along with others at the place.
Kushwaha, through his post on social media X, drew the attention of the Railway Minister Ashwani Vaishnav towards it. In his post, Kushwaha wrote that he was in the lounge was Patna junction where there were pictures of many great men on its walls.
He said it all looked very nice but one thing was missing that there was no picture of "Bharat Ratna" Jananayak Karpoori Thakur among others and requested Vaishnav to look into it. He had also posted a related video made by him.
The railways quickly responded to the post, and assured to look into the suggestion of Kushwaha at the earliest.
Kushwaha later said that NDA honours the feelings of its alliance partners and hoped that the picture of Thakur would soon be installed at Patna junction.
