Minister Savitha assures of providing infrastructure to establish industries

Anantapur, May 13 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Minister for BC Welfare S Savitha reiterated the Government’s commitment to provide required infrastructure to establish industries and encourage enthusiastic entrepreneurs.

Minister Savitha performed bhoomi pooja for the establishment of MSME Park at Roddam in Penukonda constituency on Tuesday. The MSME Park is coming up in 59.37 acres of land.
Speaking on the occasion the Minister called upon entrepreneurs to establish industries in their native cities and towns and help development of areas. She called upon entrepreneurs to extend their mite for the development of the area by establishing industries and generating employment.Minister Savitha noted that 50 MSME Parks would be established in the Park in the first phase.
“In the first phase, steps are being taken to set up small-scale industries on 20 acres in Roddam MSME Park. The land is being allotted to 115 industries at a rate of seven cents. Roads, canals and street lights are being provided at a cost of Rs 7 crore to the Park,” she revealed and called upon enthusiastic aspiring entrepreneurs and youth to utilize this opportunity.

She highlighted the intention of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu of generating an entrepreneur in every household. The Government is also committed to development of Rayalaseema at all fronts by establishing industries. Steps are being taken to provide irrigation and drinking water in Rayalaseema regions, she claimed.

She recalled that the establishment of the KAI factory had changed the face of Anantapur district. The industrial sector got a fillip after Chandrababu Naidu came to power, Minister Savitha acknowledged.

Taking a dig at the previous YSRCP regime, Minister Savitha alleged that industrialists were harassed during the YSRCP regime forcing them to leave the state. The industrialization came to grinding halt during the YSRCP rule, she slammed.
