Odisha to set up Integrated Waste Processing Complexes in Municipal Corporations

Bhubaneswar,Mar 21 (UNI) Odisha Housing and Urban Development Minister Krushna Chandra Mahapatra, has proposed setting up integrated waste processing complexes in Municipal Corporations and selected Municipalities.
These complexes should include all types of processing plants along with CBG plants to reduce transportation and infrastructure costs, Mohapatra said while chairing a high level meeting on improvement of sanitation in ULBs in the state on Thursday.
The status of CBG plant establishment in five Municipal Corporations, the Puri-Konark Cluster, and the Boudhgarh-Sonepur Cluster was reviewed and Mahapatra urged officials to expedite the process.
