Kamareddy (Telangana) Mar 30 (UNI) A tragic incident occurred at Venkatapur Agraharam in Yellareddy Mandal, Kamareddy district, where a mother and her three children drowned in a village tank on Sunday.
According to police reports, the deceased were identified as Mounika (26) and her children—Maithili (10), Akshara (9), and Vinay (7). The incident occurred while Mounika was washing clothes, and the children ventured into the tank for a swim. Unfortunately, they accidentally drowned, and in an attempt to save them, Mounika also lost her life.
Upon receiving information from locals, police arrived at the scene and retrieved the bodies from the tank.
A case has been registered, and an investigation is underway, police added.
