Achieve the motto of 'No voter to be left behind' by including eligible citizens in voter list: UP CEO

Lucknow, Oct 1 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Chief Electoral Officer( CEO) Navdeep Rinwa has said that in accordance with the directives of the Election Commission of India (ECI), a special campaign will be launched in collaboration with various departments during the continuous revision period to increase the electoral roll and gender ratio in Uttar Pradesh.
To achieve the objective of "No voter to be left behind," all District Electoral Officers have been directed to ensure 100% inclusion of eligible citizens in the voter list.
The Chief Electoral Officer stated that, following the Special Intensive Revision Program-2026, instructions have been given to all District Election Officers to specifically include the names of eligible youth, missing voters, first-time voters, homeless voters, disabled voters, and women voters in the electoral rolls as part of the ongoing ongoing revision of electoral rolls for the state's Assembly constituencies.
He stated that the special campaign will enlist the support of various educational institutions, volunteer groups, health workers, and other organizations to register as many eligible citizens as possible.
Instructions have been given to ensure the availability of a sufficient number of Form-6 during the campaign.
The CEO stated that any eligible citizen can apply by filling out Form-6 online through the Election Commission of India's Citizen Service Portal (voters.eci.gov.in) or the ECINET Mobile App.
You can also fill out Form-6 offline and submit it along with the necessary documents to your BLO/Assistant Electoral Registration Officer/Electoral Registration Officer.
Eligible citizens are required to complete all their entries accurately and without errors.
He also stated that the requirement of a declaration form with Form-6 has been waived for revisions other than the Special Intensive Revision.
Rinwa stated that all District Electoral Officers in the state have been directed to conduct extensive publicity in this regard at the district level through various means to ensure maximum public access.
Instructions have been given to seek the cooperation of various departments, such as Women's Welfare, Higher Education, Secondary Education, Medical Department, Disabled Persons, Rural Development, Youth Welfare, etc., to ensure that no eligible citizen is excluded from inclusion in the voter list.
