AP: Four youths drowned in Sea, 2 bodies fished out

Ongole, Oct 10 (UNI) Four youth were drowned in the sea at Pakala beach in Singarayakonda mandal in Prakasam district on Saturday.
Police said a group of eight youth went to the beach and entered the sea for a bath when a strong wave swept them in. While local fishermen rescued a quartet, four others were drowned and the bodies of two of them has been fished out. Two others were missing and a search is on for them.
The deceased were identified as Paladugu Teja (20) and Battula Mahesh Babu (22). The missing two are Devendla Vishnu (16) and Devendra Narayana (30). The local fishermen and marine personnel have launched a search for the missing youths.
IT Minister Nara Lokesh expressed grief and shock over the drowning of four youths in the sea. He directed the officials to intensify efforts to trace the two missing boys and he assured of full support to the bereaved families.
Former Chief Minister and YSR Congress Party president Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy expressed deep shock and grief over the deaths of youngsters who went for a swim in the sea at Pakala Beach. In a message the Ex-CM said it was deeply painful that young people with bright futures had lost their lives. He urged the authorities concerned to speed up rescue and search operations to trace those still missing.
Reddy conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the families of the youths who lost their lives.
