AP govt is pro-poor, says Minister Subhash

Kakinada, July 2 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Minister for Labour Vasamsetti Subhash has distributed NTR Bharosa pensions to the beneficiaries in the first ward Kothuru in Ramachandrapuram town today.
Interacting with the people, he said, their government was pro-poor and striving for their welfare and implementing several welfare schemes.
Because of the anarchic rule of YSRCP, the alliance government was now facing severe financial crunch but going ahead with implementation of schemes giving equal priority for development as well as welfare, he added.
The Minister further claimed that Andhra Pradesh was the only state in the country that pays highest number of pensions despite financial burden.`
Government is paying Rs.34,000 Crores towards pensions to 64 lakh beneficiaries which is a record in country’s history’ he added.
The Minister said there was no question of compromise on the issue of peoples welfare.
Janasena party incharge Polisetti Chandrasekhar, Kakinada Ramarao accompanied the Minister.
