Contractors demand payment of bills for Zilla Parishad grant works

Kakinada, July 2 (UNI) The Amalapuram division contractors have demanded immediate payment of their long-pending bills for the works executed with the Zilla parishad grants.
While the Zilla parishad general body meeting was in progress, the contractors who waited at the Zilla parishad premises pressed for their entry to submit their representation.
However, the Zilla parishad vice chairman Burra Anubabu came out of the meeting to meet the contractors delegation.
The contractors while submitting their representation, explained to the vice Chairman that the bills were pending for the past three years and they were facing a severe crisis unable to pay the interest on the loans taken by them for execution of works.
Anubabu assured them he will inform the Konaseema Collector Mahesh Kumar and also the general body and solve it amicably.
The contractors thanked the Vice chairman Anubabu for his initiative.
