Before 2017, Ayodhya was forced to endure the acidic bite of appeasement: CM Yogi

Lucknow, Nov 1 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has criticised previous governments over their handling of Ayodhya while highlighting the development initiatives undertaken by his government.
On Sunday, CM Yogi took to social media platform X to share old and recent photographs of Ayodhya, highlighting the transformation of the holy city.
The Chief Minister wrote that Ayodhya is the birthplace of civilisation, the lifeblood of culture, and the eternal light of faith. However, before 2017, this divine city was forced to endure the acidic bite of neglect, chaos, and appeasement. Pilgrims faced difficulties in reaching the holy city, its infrastructure remained underdeveloped, and opportunities for local families were limited.
The Chief Minister said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Ayodhya's ancient glory has been revived through modern development. From the magnificent Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple to Rampath, Dharampath, the international airport, and the modern railway station, every development project has been aimed at improving the convenience of devotees and enhancing the grandeur of Ram Nagari.
