State BJP vice-president and MLA Pawan Kajal alleged that healthcare services had deteriorated under the Congress government. He cited the reported shortage of steroids, glucose, syringes and other essential medicines at Dr Rajendra Prasad Government Medical College, Tanda, as evidence of the state’s failure to maintain adequate medical supplies.
Kajal also credited Bhardwaj’s efforts for the launch of the Kangra Valley Railway and expressed hope that residents living near the Ghatta toll plaza would soon receive relief.
During a separate interaction at the toll plaza, a delegation led by Kajal, including panchayat representatives and several panchayat heads and deputy heads, submitted a demand for toll exemption for residents within a five-km radius. Bhardwaj reiterated his assurance of pursuing a permanent resolution within 15 days.
